Chaos in France as airports are blockaded during ninth day of rioting – Could this happen in the UK?

Street Violence and general social unrest is an established tool to break down democratic government and establish a Marxist or Fascist dictatorship. It was the tool used by Lenin and others to establish Russian communism, and by Hitler to bring into being National Socialism and the Third Reich. Even before the cutbacks were announced on October 20th., some union leaders were threatening to go on the streets with a violent upheaval, as has happened across France. The UK Coalition is vulnerable, and persistent lawlessness could bring about its collapse.

WHY PRAY

Because we are to behave as the offspring of God himself, and should care for our community and country. Jesus said: If you do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye, for sinners also do even the same… But love your enemies and do good….for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful (from Luke 6:33-36)

Jesus Christ did it Again!

Posted by: rivercrisis | Comments Comments Off

Miraculously Amazing! My Father, Jesus Christ, just took somebody out of the point of death! Joanna suffered multiple blood clots in both her lungs, and a large clot in one of her legs. Hoanna was rushed into A&E. Thanks Father! You are truly ALIVE!

http://rivercrisis.com/urgent-crisis-prayer-request-for-joanna-…gee-on-march-of-repentance-website/

I was told by Suzanne on the 17th of July to pray for her. I did a numerous times. On the 19th, the Holy Spirit revealed to me in my dream that in Jesus’ name, she was healed and asked me to talk about it… but waking up I was not sure – “What if I got it wrong!”

Today, I just got the news that she is in the process of recovery! Halleluya!

This has taught me one thing – “Trust in the Lord!” I should have actually. It is so shame on me that I even doubted it as My Father has delivered me times and times again…

Through Him, ALL THINGS are POSSIBLE! I am so blessed to have my Father calling me as His child!!

GETTING INVOLVED IN PRAYER REALLY BLESSES A COMMUNITY

Police chief hails power of prayer in driving down town’s crime rates

By Beth Hale Daily Mail February 22nd. 2010

When Inspector Roger Bartlett realised his patch had one of the poorest crime detection rates in the area, he decided he needed help. So he asked churchgoers to pool their efforts in calling for back-up – from God. Three years after encouraging Christians from local churches to say prayers to help policemen, detection rates have soared, road accidents have fallen and Mr Bartlett is convinced it is evidence of divine intervention.

The policeman asked churchgoers to pool their efforts in calling on a higher power The clear-up rate for crimes in his force area of Barnstaple was 26 per cent, one of the lowest in the Devon and Cornwall area. But since he asked for the prayers things have changed. Every quarter, the number of crimes solved has risen, so that at its current figure – more than 40 per cent – it is one of the highest in the country.

Mr Bartlett, 49, who is part of the leadership of the Christian Policing Team in his area, also asked worshippers to pray for a reduction in the number of serious or fatal road accidents – and they fell from 97 in 2007/8 to 32 in 2008/9.

He also works with Street Pastors. These are Christian volunteers who help with vulnerable or drunken people and diffuse trouble in town centres at night. Last night the policeman said he was convinced that faith and prayer has had a positive impact on policing in Barnstaple.
He said he has seen his prayers answered ‘on a number of occasions’. There was the ‘unprecedented’ Halloween night when police did not have to attend a single incident of disorder. Then there was the ‘prolific burglar’ who was apprehended within three days of the group praying that he would be caught, he said.

Mr Bartlett said ‘the most significant answer to prayer’ he had experienced relates to a fall in the number of serious road accidents in North Devon. He added: ‘Not only was there a 67 per cent reduction on the previous year, and a far greater fall than any other area of the force, it was also more than 50 per cent lower than the next lowest annual figure locally.’

Assistant Chief Constable Paul Netherton of Devon and Cornwall Police said: ‘Whether you believe in the power of prayer or not, the fundamental issue is that there are people out there caring about society.’

1989 Prophesy warned Christians then to Wake Up…

Posted by: rivercrisis | Comments Comments Off

Earthquake in the City Book Review

Written by Dr. Clifford Denton and Paul Slennett, Earthquake in the City was first published in 1997, and focuses around a prophesy given to Paul Slennett in 1989. It was reprinted in 2008 unchanged apart from a new preface, and demonstrated the accuracy of the prophesy in predicting the current nationwide and catastrophic collapses in the City and wider, and its impact nationwide. It has been distributed quite widely, in particular to those in government in various roles and has therefore been a reminder to them of God’s sovereignty in the affairs of nations. Its warnings about the European Community are becoming true, although the interpretation that there may be a physical earthquake in the future does not appear to be supported within the original prophetic text. However, there is a critical weakness in the book’s failure to understand what the Holy Spirit was saying within the prophesy about the role of the Church in bringing about national repentance.

The authors do write about the Welsh Revival influencing secular local communities (p178), but this suggests the only way of bringing about change nationally is a Welsh Revival equivalent across the nation, which reflects a common evangelical belief that if you have enough Holy Spirit filled Christians everything will change. My contention is that this interpretation of the prophesy is wrong. As it says in para.2 ‘My children, repent now before it is too late…but awake my children, and be my watchmen, and speak with a prophetic voice of the judgement that is about to come upon the nations’, . The Church is ‘unrighteous’ in failing to be a watchman, and not speaking with a prophetic voice. In other words the Lord was saying in 1989 that the Church has failed to be salt and light and must change. But what should it be doing?

If Christians have a responsibility to speak out, then we have to follow scripture principles. Focusing on the culture is insufficient, one has to challenge the lawmakers to use their authority. Romans 13:1 points out that ‘The powers that be are ordained (appointed) by God’. In other words, Governments as God’s agents have the responsibility to put in place and sustain moral parameters to restrain outward sin by the populace. This of course is because of the nature of fallen man to drift into increasing wickedness unless there are enforceable restraints of law. An unsaved person cannot ‘repent’ in a godly way, but can alter his behaviour under duress traceable ultimately to enforceable law. A nation therefore cannot come to true repentance, but can change. True repentance is surely only possible by the grace of God when there is a response to an awareness of personal sinfulness and a revelation of Christ as Saviour.

Humanism Has Failed

Posted by: rivercrisis | Comments Comments Off

The Lost Soul of Humanism

One of the sadist statements made by humanists is to deny that human beings incline toward lawlessness. It is extraordinary when one considers recent history, and indeed current events, when human behaviour becomes so obnoxious as to provide no alternative explanation for its cause. The terror and purges of the communist movement where literally millions upon millions have died within countries that have embraced its philosophy has baffled historians and political scientists. Pol Pot murdered 31% of the entire population of Cambodia in the late seventies, and currently in North Korea killing still goes on, with compulsory worship of its leaders.  Germany was a civilised society, but within a few years embraced teachings that led millions of Jews into the gas chambers, also putting to death through the concentration camp system its own citizens who dared to criticise the new morality of fascism.
